UPAAGLA to Host Philippine Consul General for Protocol & Social Graces Seminar
Los Angeles, CA — The University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Greater Los Angeles (UPAAGLA) will host a special seminar on March 7 featuring the Philippine Consul General of Los Angeles, focusing on diplomatic protocol and social etiquette for Filipino American event leaders.
Titled “Master Diplomatic Protocol: Elevate Filipino American Events with Diplomatic Excellence,” the session is designed for event organizers, chamber leaders, nonprofit boards, and cultural producers who regularly host elected officials, diplomats, and distinguished guests.
“In our growing community, professionalism matters,” said Annie Nepomuceno, President of UPAAGLA. “Understanding proper protocol strengthens our credibility and ensures our events reflect the highest standards of respect and excellence.”
The briefing will cover proper introductions, seating hierarchy, flag placement, diplomatic courtesies, and common protocol errors.
